Service interruption via uninitialized ACPI parent handle

Improper error handling in the Linux kernel allows local users to interrupt service during ACPI video backlight registration. acpi_video_dev_register_backlight passes an uninitialized acpi_parent handle to acpi_get_pci_dev when acpi_get_parent fails. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and an ACPI parent lookup failure; confidentiality and integrity effects are not reported.
