Service interruption via unchecked USB read failure

Unchecked return handling in affected Linux kernel branches beginning with 5.14 allows local users to interrupt Scarlett2 audio-device operation. When updating a bit-sized mixer setting, scarlett2_usb_set_config() ignores a failed scarlett2_usb_get() and writes a configuration byte derived from an invalid value. Reachability requires local access and a supported Focusrite Scarlett USB interface; the documented consequence is loss of availability, not data disclosure or modification.
