Audio service interruption via discarded update errors

Unchecked return values in Linux kernel ALSA Scarlett2 controls allow local users to cause an audio service interruption. The affected control-getter paths discard negative results from Scarlett2 hardware refresh functions, then return cached control data as if the read succeeded. Triggering the fault requires local access to an ALSA control backed by a supported Focusrite Scarlett USB interface, and the reported consequence is limited to availability.
