Kernel crash via unchecked PMU string allocation

NULL pointer dereference in affected Linux kernel versions allows local users to crash the kernel through the PowerPC IMC PMU subsystem. The update_events_in_group function passes unchecked NULL results from three kasprintf calls into device_str_attr_create while registering event, scale, and unit attributes. Exploitation requires low-privilege local access, PowerPC IMC PMU support, and an allocation failure; the bounded consequence is a kernel crash.
