Local denial of service via unreleased EDID buffers

Memory leak in the Meson DRM HDMI encoder in affected Linux kernels allows local users to exhaust kernel memory through repeated HPD events. The meson_encoder_hdmi_hpd_notify callback obtains an EDID buffer with drm_bridge_get_edid but passes it to the CEC notifier without freeing the allocation after a connected-state notification. Reachability requires the Meson DRM HDMI path, an active CEC notifier, and repeated connected hot-plug notifications; accumulated allocations can interrupt system availability.
