Package-name verification bypass in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI allows remote attackers to disrupt HwIms availability over a network. The HwIms module accepts an untrusted package name without completing the intended identity check; Huawei has not disclosed the responsible function or request format. No privileges or user interaction are required, and exploitation can make affected features perform abnormally without a reported confidentiality impact.
