CVE-2023-5253Network attack vector

Asset data disclosure via unauthenticated WebSocket channel

Published Jan 15, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Authentication bypass in Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC before 23.3.0 allows remote attackers to read limited asset data. The Check Point IoT integration's WebSocket channel returns asset records without performing the authentication check required by the web management interface. Exploitation requires network access to that interface and knowledge of the underlying system; the published impact is limited to disclosure.
