Published Feb 12, 2024 · Updated May 6, 2025
Reflected XSS in Caddy caddy-security 1.1.20 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via crafted GET URLs. The affected admin and MFA routes return attacker-controlled URL path content in HTML without output escaping. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted URL, after which the script runs in the Caddy origin and can access or alter browser-session data.
