Content injection via unescaped search keyword
Published Oct 31, 2023 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Reflected HTML injection in EventPrime before 3.2.0 allows remote attackers to inject web content through the keyword search parameter. The performers search page writes the keyword value into its response without sanitization or output escaping, so crafted markup is rendered by the browser. Exploitation requires a site visitor to follow a crafted URL, and the demonstrated consequence is attacker-controlled content in the affected search page.
