CVE-2023-52368Network attack vector

Feature behavior modification via unvalidated account input

Published Feb 18, 2024 · Updated Nov 22, 2024

Improper input validation in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI account modules allows remote attackers to alter feature behavior via network input. Huawei has not disclosed the code locus or how the account module fails to validate untrusted input. Exploitation requires no privileges or user interaction and is limited to low-integrity modification that makes features behave abnormally, with no reported data disclosure or service interruption.
