Authenticated code execution via unsafe PHP include
Published Jan 23, 2024 · Updated Jun 11, 2025
Local file inclusion in Trend Micro Apex Central 2019 before build 6570 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through a widget. The getObjWGFServiceApiByApiName function passes user-supplied data to a PHP include operation without properly validating the filename. Exploitation requires valid credentials and a second vulnerability, and successful chaining executes code in the IUSR account context.
