Stored XSS via unescaped template titles
Published Oct 31, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Stored XSS in the E2Pdf WordPress plugin before 1.20.20 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The template editor stores an unsanitized Title setting, and the templates listing, backup dialog, and bulk page render it without escaping. Administrator-level access is required to save the payload, and a user must open an affected administrative view to trigger it.
