Information disclosure in Siemens RUGGEDCOM ROS devices allows remote authenticated users to read system password hashes and salts. The device web server exposes hashes and per-account salts for every system user, including administrators, to low-privileged accounts. Successful access permits offline password brute-forcing and can expose credentials for higher-privileged device accounts.
