Published Jan 8, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
PHP object injection in HTML5 SoundCloud Player with Playlist Free 2.8.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject objects. The plugin deserializes attacker-controlled input into PHP objects, but Patchstack has not disclosed the affected parameter or code path. Author-level WordPress access is required; file deletion, data retrieval, or code execution additionally requires a usable POP chain from another installed plugin or theme.
