Stored script execution via unescaped output
Published Jan 8, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in cformsII 15.0.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a visitor's browser. Affected output paths render stored data without adequate HTML escaping, but public sources do not identify the specific field or function. Administrative privileges are required to plant the payload, and another user must load the affected output; the script then runs in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
