Application crash via out-of-bounds heap write

Out-of-bounds write in XnView Classic before 2.51.3 for Windows allows attackers to crash the application via a crafted ECF file. At xnview.exe+0x3125D6, a byte-write instruction writes four bytes beyond a 7,316-byte heap block and corrupts the page-heap suffix. Processing the malformed file is required; the published report demonstrates a crash, while arbitrary code execution remains unverified.
