Authenticated command execution via unsanitized ntp parameter
Published Feb 3, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Command injection in Digiever DS-2105 Pro 3.1.0.71-11 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands via HTTP. The /cgi-bin/cgi_main.cgi gateway invokes time_tzsetup.cgi without neutralizing shell separators in the ntp parameter. A valid device login is required; injected commands run on the NVR and have been used to install Mirai-family malware.
