Database data extraction via insufficient query preparation
Published Dec 31, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
SQL injection in Eyal Fitoussi's WordPress geolocation plugin 4.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The vulnerable query insufficiently escapes an attacker-supplied parameter and executes it without adequate prepared-statement handling, allowing appended SQL. Administrator access is required, and public advisories do not identify the affected parameter or query locus; database confidentiality is the bounded reported consequence.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
