Unauthorized wallpaper-service file access in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI allows remote attackers to interrupt device features. Huawei identifies the wallpaper service module but has not disclosed which file path or operation fails to enforce access boundaries across HarmonyOS 2.0.0, 2.1.0, 3.0.0, 3.1.0, and 4.0.0 or EMUI 11.0.1, 12.0.0, and 13.0.0. The network path requires no authentication or user interaction, and the reported consequence is limited to abnormal feature operation rather than data disclosure or modification.
