Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jun 11, 2025
Improper access control in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI allows remote attackers to disclose service data through the WMS module. The WMS module accepts security-relevant parameters without verification; Huawei has not disclosed the parameter names or request path. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient, and the reported consequence is limited to confidentiality in the listed HarmonyOS and EMUI releases.
