Administrative API access via unchecked app-token privileges
Published Dec 27, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Incorrect authorization in nexryai Concorde before 12.23Q4.5 allows remote authenticated users to invoke administrative APIs. The API dispatcher in packages/backend/src/server/api/call.ts fails to reject app tokens when an endpoint requires administrator or moderator privileges. An administrator or moderator must issue or approve the token, after which a malicious app can alter server settings and read object-storage or mail credentials.
