CVE-2023-52066Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated response-header injection via unsanitized URL parameters

Published Oct 30, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2024

CRLF injection in Karl Seguin http.zig commit 76cf5 allows remote attackers to inject or overwrite HTTP response headers. The request parser accepts CRLF sequences embedded in a URL parameter, and applications that pass the resulting parameter to Response.header emit attacker-controlled header lines. The application must place a URL-derived route parameter into a response header; successful exploitation changes response metadata without reported service interruption.
