Stored XSS via unsanitized ticket fields
Published Feb 13, 2024 · Updated May 9, 2025
Stored XSS in Gestsup before 3.2.46 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another user's browser through a malicious ticket. The server stores intercepted-request values from the Description and Resolution fields without back-end sanitization, bypassing front-end filtering. An unprivileged account must create or edit a ticket, and execution occurs when another user views that ticket; HttpOnly protects the session cookie from direct extraction.
