Persistent XSS via filename restriction bypass

Stored XSS in Studio 42 Ltd. elFinder 2.1.62 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through an uploaded HTML file. The upload path accepts names ending in .html.aaa or .htm.aaa on Windows and trailing-dot HTML names on Linux, then stores attacker-controlled HTML that executes when opened. Execution requires a user to open the uploaded file; the script runs in that user's browser origin and can read or alter accessible page data.
