Unauthenticated memory corruption via IPTV stack overflow
Published Jan 10, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AX1803 1.0.0.1 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted iptv.stb.mode value. The formSetIptv handler fails to constrain iptv.stb.mode to the capacity of a stack buffer before processing it. The unauthenticated network path permits a service crash; public records do not demonstrate a reliable code-execution outcome.
