Unauthenticated memory corruption via IPTV VLAN overflow
Published Jan 10, 2024 · Updated Sep 3, 2024
Stack overflow in formGetIptv in Tenda AX1803 1.0.0.1 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted IPTV VLAN value. The handler processes adv.iptv.stballvlans without enforcing the destination stack buffer's length, producing an out-of-bounds write. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation can crash the router or execute code in the firmware context.
