Use after free in Google Chrome Extensions before 117.0.5938.132 allows attackers to corrupt heap memory through a crafted HTML page. The Extensions component accesses an object after its lifetime ends, allowing page processing to reuse or corrupt its freed heap storage. Exploitation requires a user to install an attacker-supplied extension and then process crafted page content; public records disclose no narrower code locus or demonstrated code-execution outcome.
