CVE-2023-51813Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Staff deletion via forged authenticated request

Published Jan 30, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025

CSRF in Free Open-Source Inventory Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to delete staff records through a crafted request. The delete_staff.php action accepts a POSTed delete_id and deletes the corresponding staff member without verifying the request's origin. A victim must be signed in to the management interface and load attacker-controlled HTML, so the demonstrated consequence is staff-record deletion rather than arbitrary code execution.
