Session-persistent script execution via unsanitized language parameter
Published Jan 12, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Reflected XSS in Piwigo 14.0.0 Admin Tools allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via a crafted ato_lang parameter. The plug-in injects the ato_lang URL value into HTML without neutralizing markup and retains the malicious language value across pages for the session. Execution requires a webmaster or administrator to open Admin Tools and follow the crafted link, after which the script runs in that user's browser context.
