CVE-2023-51751

Kiosk escape via Alt-F4 File Explorer launch

Published Jan 11, 2024 · Updated Jun 16, 2025

Kiosk escape in Scalefusion Windows MDM Agent 10.5.2 allows physically proximate attackers to access File Explorer via Alt-F4. The kiosk policy confines sessions to Microsoft Edge but leaves File Explorer on the default allowlist, so closing Edge exposes the allowed file browser. Exploitation requires access to a Windows device enrolled in Agent-based Multi-App or Single App Kiosk mode and exposes resources outside the intended kiosk boundary.
