CVE-2023-51729Network attack vector

Stored script execution via unvalidated DDNS username

Published Jan 17, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Stored XSS in the DDNS interface of Skyworth Digital CM5100 4.1.1.24 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script. The web interface accepts the DDNS Username value without sufficient validation, stores the crafted input, and later places it into page content. Exploitation requires high-privileged access to submit the value and user interaction to render it; the script can read or alter data in the victim's router session.
