Stored XSS via unvalidated SMTP server name
Published Jan 17, 2024 · Updated May 21, 2025
Stored XSS in the web interface of Skyworth Digital CM5100 4.1.1.24 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. The SMTP Server Name handler stores insufficiently validated input and later renders it in the interface without safe neutralization. Administrative access is required to plant the payload, and a user must open the affected page before the script executes in that user's browser.
