Stored XSS via unsanitized Traceroute parameter
Published Jan 17, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Stored XSS in the Skyworth Digital CM5100 web interface 4.1.1.24 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script content. The Traceroute parameter accepts crafted input without sufficient validation and stores it for later rendering by the management interface. High-privilege access is required to submit the value, and a user must later view the affected page for the script to run in that user's browser.
