Published Dec 29, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Open redirect in Advanced Access Manager 6.9.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to send visitors to attacker-chosen sites. The login-related redirect handler accepts the params->redirect URL without sufficient destination validation before issuing the redirect. An Author-level account and a persuaded visitor action, such as logging in, are required, enabling redirection to a phishing site.
