CVE-2023-51650Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Server information disclosure via unprotected actuator endpoints

Published Dec 22, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Missing authorization in Apache HertzBeat before 1.4.1 allows remote attackers to read sensitive server information from actuator endpoints. The Spring Boot security configuration leaves /actuator/metrics, /actuator/health, and /actuator/env outside authorization checks, so unauthenticated GET requests return operational metrics, health data, and environment properties. Network access to the web service on port 1157 is sufficient; the exposed data is read-only, with no reported ability to modify configuration or interrupt service.
