Unauthenticated code execution via exposed SiteConfigAction
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
Improper access control in Alltena GmbH Allegra before 7.5.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code without authentication. The Struts configuration exposes the SiteConfigAction action without the access restriction required to prevent untrusted requests from invoking it. A network-reachable affected instance can therefore run attacker-supplied code in the LOCAL SERVICE context, granting control bounded by that service account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
