Root code execution via SetAPClientSettings stack overflow

Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-X3260 firmware 1.02B02 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code as root. The prog.cgi SetAPClientSettings HNAP handler copies an insufficiently validated user-supplied string into a fixed-size stack buffer. Exploitation requires authenticated access from an adjacent network and grants complete control of the router.
