Root code execution via unchecked password copy

Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-X3260 1.02b02 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code as root. The SetQuickVPNSettings handler in prog.cgi copies a user-supplied Password HNAP field into a fixed-length stack buffer without adequate validation. Exploitation requires authenticated access to the HNAP service on TCP ports 80 or 443 from an adjacent network and yields root-context execution.
