Incorrect authorization in Mattermost Server allows remote authenticated users with a User Manager role to manage or update bot accounts. The bot-management path accepts generic user-edit permission without enforcing the authorization required specifically for bot management. Exploitation requires the User Manager role with user-edit permission and permits unauthorized changes to bot accounts.
