Remote code execution via unsanitized shutdown command

Command injection in Voltronic Power ViewPower 1.04.21353 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted shutdown value. The USBCommEx shutdown method passes a user-supplied string to a system call without validating or neutralizing command syntax. Exploitation requires an administrator to trigger a shutdown, after which injected code runs with the privileges of the ViewPower process.
