Unauthenticated service interruption via exposed MonitorConsole method
Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Exposed dangerous method in Voltronic Power ViewPower 1.04.21353 allows remote attackers to interrupt its service without authentication. The MonitorConsole class exposes a dangerous method to network callers, but public sources do not identify the method, request, or internal failure causing denial of service. Any network host able to reach the ViewPower service can trigger the availability-only condition; whether it crashes, hangs, or restarts remains undisclosed.
