Unauthenticated IP-limit bypass via spoofed client identity
Published Jun 4, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Authentication bypass in Metagauss RegistrationMagic 5.2.5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to evade IP-based form limits. The form-access control treats a spoofable client identity as the visitor IP, but Patchstack has not disclosed the request field or code locus. No account or user interaction is required; exploitation bypasses configured IP restrictions and permits functionality those controls were intended to deny.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
