CVE-2023-51538Network attack vector

Ticket disclosure and attachment deletion via missing nonces

Published Jan 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

CSRF in Awesome Support 6.1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to retrieve ticket replies or delete attachments through forged requests. The wpas_get_ticket_replies_ajax and ajax_delete_attachment functions omit or incorrectly perform WordPress nonce validation before processing requests. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link, and the resulting action is limited to reply retrieval or attachment deletion.
