Unauthorized product duplication via missing capability check
Published Jun 14, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in Easy Duplicate Product for WooCommerce 0.3.0.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to duplicate products. The AJAX-hooked wedp_duplicate_product_action() function performs duplication without checking whether the caller has an appropriate WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and exploitation creates unauthorized copies of existing WooCommerce product records without disclosing data or interrupting the site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
