CVE-2023-5150Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload

Published Sep 25, 2023 · Updated Jun 18, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in D-Link DAR-7000 and DAR-8000 20151231 allows remote authenticated users to execute uploaded PHP code. The /useratte/web.php handler accepts a multipart file_upload value containing a .php file and places it under the web-accessible /upload path without blocking executable content. A valid PHP session is required; uploaded scripts run through the appliance web server, granting persistent server access and code execution.
