CVE-2023-51482Network attack vector

Subscriber-level code execution via arbitrary option updates

Published Apr 25, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Missing authorization in EazyPlugins Eazy Plugin Manager 4.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify WordPress options. The plugin's update_options operation accepts attacker-supplied option names and values without enforcing an administrator capability check. A Subscriber account is sufficient; arbitrary option writes can alter site configuration and create a path to administrator control and code execution.
