Server code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Sep 25, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in D-Link DAR-7000 and DAR-8000 20151231 allows remote authenticated users to write executable files. /Tool/uploadfile.php accepts multipart file_upload data and a caller-controlled txt_path, storing PHP content at the requested web-root path without restricting its type or destination. A valid web session is required; successful upload permits execution of attacker-supplied PHP with server privileges.
