CVE-2023-51456

Code execution via unchecked SDK message packing

Published Apr 2, 2024 · Updated Sep 30, 2024

Memory corruption in DJI drone firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute code through crafted adjacent-network traffic. The v2_pack_array_to_msg function in libv2_sdk.so omits an input sanity check and reads or writes beyond v2_sdk_service process memory. Exploitation requires low privileges, user interaction, high-complexity access to port 10000, and can also disclose process memory.
