Authenticated arbitrary file upload via missing type validation
Published Dec 29, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Unrestricted upload in Soft8Soft Verge3D Publishing and E-Commerce 4.5.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write server files. The v3d_upload_app_file function stores uploaded content without validating its file type. Subscriber-level access reaches the handler, allowing server-executable files to be planted for subsequent processing by the web server.
