Reflected script execution via unescaped date_start parameter
Published Nov 20, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Computy Bonus for Woo before 5.8.3 allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted date_start parameter. The plugin returns date_start in a WordPress page without sufficient input sanitization or context-appropriate output escaping. Exploitation requires a high-privilege user, such as an administrator, to follow a crafted link, causing the script to run in that user's browser context.
